The National Labor Exchange (NLx), a partnership between the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) and DirectEmployers is a public private partnership that has created one of the largest databases of career listings on the internet. Currently, the NLx has over 2.4 million available positions from thousands of employers. Employers from all sectors of the economy utilize the NLX, to fill openings across the country.
USNLx.com is the employment search engine of the NLx and is one option jobseekers have to search the jobs available through the NLx. With an extremely easy to navigate interface, USNLx.com provides valuable content and resources for both jobseekers and employers around the nation.
Job Syndication
Companies uploading their jobs to the NLx enjoy the privilege of having their postings shared through a vast network of job boards. This means jobs can be seen throughout thousands of additional partner sites ranging from veteran, disability and minority career sites to local targeted areas of outreach.
Reaching minorities
The NLx, through its partnership with state workforce agencies and diversity recruitment websites such as ours, helps its participating member companies attract a wide array of diverse candidates.
Reaching veterans
Through its VetCentral tool, DirectEmployers helps federal contractors meet mandatory job listing requirements for servicemen and women under the Vietnam Era Veteran’s Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA).
DirectEmployers also provides resources for veterans transitioning back into civilian life, from career research based on their military occupation code/speci to relocation information. As such, DirectEmployers is a direct partner with our own Veterans Enterprise website.
